Today our journey in a place further than universe has ended!

When you are tired AF and don't really know what you are writing

All right! I wrote some articles until today about this anime, I think that this is the fourth or the fifth (presumably di fourth).

Now trash all what I said in the last one because 13th episode was freaking amazing.

I'm so sad because the series finished but here are some after-thoughts:

1) Each girl started her journey with an objective and they finally reached it, obviously the most important one was the Kobaiakawa's and I think that the anime in the end gave also an answer to the question that public had: "And what now?"

She found the laptop, she cryied a little, poor girl, and what now?

In the end she enjoyed her journey that started, probably, as a mere expedition to find out something about her dead mother but in the end she found out "A certain slant of light" (don't hit me reader please T_T) that is: Her friends, her new "collegues" (mates), her experiences, the beauty of Antartica etc...

So in the end the answer is not "I don't know" but "Who cares?" Because she got infos about her mother but it was, ant it is no more, her obsession.

Moreover final e-mail from expedition-master/boss (however you want to call her) was a well thought scene.

2) I didn't really get their return trip, I mean they moved the whole ship just for the four of them.

"But they had just that"
"Yah I know that but they couldn't just get back together? Maybe it would have cut some important scenes where Kobaiakawa's discoveries are explained" Or maybe I'm just stupid...

3) Penguins are cool

4) I really loved almost every character in the anime but particularly the head-chief, she was done too well, she was cool as ice. Really loved her complex, she can't overcome the death of her friend and she sees her in every action of Kobaiakawa. She's soo cool.

5) Final scenes were very interesting and there may be some material for a bit of speculation of what may come after, in the last minute or so we see that the protagoinst's friend (who's name is vanished from my mind) has gone th the north pole da faq bitch are ya kiddin'?!

Of course not! She is not kidding at all! In the ending when we see the logo for the last time it says "good luck for your travels" or something like that and then the protagoinst says something about a future journey.
No need to say that a second season would be really apreciated.

So in conclusion, you should really watch this anime, is fun, original and interesting too, 13 episodes are just a bit more than standard measure but no big deal right?

I'll really miss them T_T It was soooo good.
