On the other end of the spectrum

This is the second part of the other article, if you haven't read it already go check it out here or it could be just at the end of the article.

Last time we were talking about budget/super-budget rigs, today we are going to talk about something stupid, for those of you who can afford it and can't wait for better periods to buy their hardware.

And we are not talking about something like this

Or like this.

I just surfed on amazon and chose the best components for a high budget machine gaming/production oriented, some of them are although pretty stupid considering market fluctuations and RAM/GPU pricings.

So without further ado let's dive into it:

CPU: As processor I've chosen the i7 8700k that is one of the most powerful Cpus on the market right now, considering that it's a good balance between cores and clock speeds

RAM: At first were 32 gb then i understood that it was too stupid pay double the price for just 16 gb more

MOBO: A hell of a motherboard for a hell of a CPU

GPU: This is the point of no return, where things complicated, going for a 1050ti would have been too cheap, going for a 1070 a folly, so I chose a 1060 that is a good compromise and it's able to game everything on the planet on ultra settings (1080p/2k maybe with some tweaking)

COOLER: This is stupid, clearly useless in a system like that, an advise? Custom loop or a good air cooler like the ones from noctua

CASE: Maybe the best choice I've made XD. No kidding, this case is one of the few that have a good airflow in this market that is trying to close everything up leaving just little grills that don't do their job that well, moreover has TG at a fair price

PSU: Very good PSU from corsair, it's just a little bit over the top compared to other smaller psus maybe more adequate for a system like this (650w should be plenty enough)

FANS: If you can afford them, be aware they are not cheap, they are going to light up the case perfectly while doing their job, just like better vardar fans

SSD: Also this is stupid, don't buy it unless you don't know how to spend your money, 256 gb or 512 gb are perfect sizes to keep your operating system and a good amount of software, I'm personally using a 120 gb from Samsung and I feel no need for more super fast storage

HDD: This hard disk is very good IF you are looking for great capacity at low prices, the speeds aren't great but for 116 bucks is a deal. If you are looking for some faster storage without spending too much just go for the WD blue, if price is not your problem then go for WD black or even a second SSD

KEEP IN MIND: that the component that i chose are good/excellent but aren't the best in terms of price/performance, i'd rather buy a 650 w psu and a 980ti instead of the 750w and the 1060 GPU (the only problem is that 980ti's are difficult to find now on official sites, even rarer brand new) i was able to find a 970 for just 90 bucks, used but still roaring.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this, maybe I'll do a water cooling guid sooner or later, or, if I'm crazy enough I'll just disassemble my whole pc and i'll document it's reassembly with some pictures.

Suppose only time will tell.
