Today not talking about anime.
Yes, my friends, today i'm going to talk about my experience with The Witcher III, i played something like 5 hours but it didn't took long to understand that it was a very cool game.
First things first, I'm a pc player and i've a pretty decent speced pc that is rocking:
-I5 4690 non-overclockable processor
-H97 gaming 3 from MSI as mobo (pretty old combo but it does its job)
-GTX 970 from EVGA at 1666 as GPU
-8 gb of ram
-Boring stuff
-Hardline watercooling CPU only
I get very respectable framerates, every preset is on ultra, and I also tried to play with NVIDIA hairworks at max AA filter but it chopped the framerates to low 40s so... Playability is more important than beauty, in this case, so I disabled NVIDIA hairworks and it averaged at 57/60 fps no prob (also if the GPU got considerably loud under heavy load)
The experience was very immersive, map is gigantic and the story (for what i've seen until now) is tripping and well thought, also if sometimes I don't get some dialogues, probably referring to other games of the saga.

No need to say that graphics is really good, REDengine 3 does an astonishing job and if you pair it with a powerful enough GPU (I'd personally recommend at least a 960/950 to play on ultra settings but don't quote me on that, didn't have the possibility to test other cards apart from 970) you'll get a hell of an experience, i play on a 1080p screen but i think that on a 1440p one would look ten times better.
Commands are easy to learn and combat is very good, didn't have time for a free roam but in a future update i'll talk also about that.
Botom line: Bought this game for more or less 20 bucks and I feel it is going to be worth it #steamsales
Stay tuned for future reviews and first impressions
